YOUR4X4 Episode 150: Simon’s Thailand Adventure

This week, and to finish this series, we have a real treat on offer as Simon joins with ARB and the Ford Ranger Club of Thailand for an unforgettable off road jungle adventure.

A 4am start sees the convoy travelling west of Bangkok and into the infamous Kanchanaburi area, the site of the horrendous Japanese prison camps of WW2 and the Bridge on the River Kwai. Snakes, washed out jungle tracks and heat relieving water falls all feature as we tackle the steamy jungle and experience life off road Thai style.

This week we are back at Eldee Station in outback NSW for the family and fun based ARB Eldee Easter Event.

Join us a we highlight the activities, challenges and experiences enjoyed by our viewers as they tackle the gymkhana style stages set by show host Simon Christie.

With well over $25000 in prizes on offer, a diversity of driving terrains and the sensational sights of Eldee Station on offer, it’s another wonderful off road experience enjoyed by all.

YOUR4X4 Episode 148: Flinders Ranges – Willow Springs to Rawnsley Park

For our last day of touring the region and after a long night of torrential rain and wind, we broke our camp at Willow Springs and prepared to explore the 4wd delights of Willow Springs.

A meeting with the property owners and discussions on weather and track conditions resulted in the famous SkyTrek trail being opened for us and after a short wait we were soon on the trails exploring hidden gullies, significant indigenous landmarks and places, bush tucker and the 4wd treats that Willow Springs is well known for.

Departing Willow Springs we travelled further south to our final destination of Rawnsley Park Station and finish the episode by driving the Arkapena Track and retiring to the station restaurant for an amazing dinner.

YOUR4X4 Episode 147: Flinders Ranges – Brachina Gorge to Willow Springs

For this Episode and day four of our Flinders Ranges Adventure, we break camp early and back track along the Brachina Gorge taking in bluffs, outcrops and rugged terrain from the opposite angle and under the opposite lighting conditions.

Turning south we travel past native pines, though the Bunyeroo Scenic Drive, across incredible remote and open planes.

A quick stop at the Twin Gums Lookout an the Yanyanna Hut broke up our travels as we headed for Wilpena Pound and our final destinations of Willow Springs.

YOUR4X4 Episode 146: Flinders Ranges – Arkaroola to Brachina Gorge

Our third day exploring the Flinders Ranges starts with a local breakfast and a self guided 4wd tour around the Echo Camp Back Track of Arkaroola before transiting back to Blinman and turn south west towards Brachina Gorge.

Whilst the Teamsters Campground was our final destination, wet weather, towering cliffs and another awesome sunset all combined to make the trek through the Gorge unforgettable.

Join us for another day experiencing the wild of the Flinders Ranges in all its glory.

YOUR4X4 Episode 145: Flinders Ranges – Parachilna to Arkaroola

Dusty rocky trails, barren landscapes, tales of hardship, destiny and luck and plenty of misfortune make up this episode as we trek from Parachilna towards Arkaroola via Nuccaleena Mine, Blinman and the Blinman Mine.

We see numerous ruins along the way, discover hidden tales of the Cornish miners who worked and died in this remote and inhospitable region and we finish our days travel at the oasis of Arkaroola, a resort nestled deep with the rocky ranges of the Flinders.
