4wd Tips

With over 40 years of collective experience within the 4x4 scene, Danny & Simon have extensive expertise and practical knowledge that has seen them lead hundreds of recreational 4wd trips.

Danny and Simon are both active members of the Geelong Four Wheel Drive Club and the Victoria Police Four Wheel Drive Club, and regularly put into practice the skills and resourcefulness required to complete any 4wd trip in a safe and responsible manner.

The diversity of trips and remote destination situations they have both experienced has left them with an intuitive understanding of how a 4wd works, how to survive in the bush and most importantly how to patch things up when others get into trouble.

In the following pages you will find some worthwhile hints, tips and bush repairs that have seen Simon and Danny get their entire crew home safe and sound from every trip they have ever done.
